BLACKWOOD - If you loved Max Payne, you’re going to love this one too

If you’re a fan of Max Payne, BLACKWOOD is definitely a game worth keeping an eye on.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of the game is its action-focused combat. Much like Max Payne, BLACKWOOD lets you perform slow-motion jumps during firefights. This mechanic works particularly well during intense shootouts, giving the action a stylish and cinematic feel. There are also several sequences that strongly resemble the atmosphere and action choreography of the John Wick movies.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve - Is there any difference from the previous entry, Ace Combat 7?

This game, as the latest entry in Namco’s series, immediately reminded me of Ace Combat 7. I’m not sure how much further they could really push things beyond Ace Combat 7, but they’ve definitely taken a step forward technically.

Of course, being a brand-new game, things like water reflections, textures, and overall visual quality are noticeably better compared to a game that’s now seven years old.

Fatal Claw - One of the best metroidvania games of 2026

How Long to Beat: Can you finish it in 15 hours with a fast-paced game?

I’d like to introduce Fatal Claw, one of the few truly high-quality Metroidvania games of 2026.

The game’s mechanics immediately reminded me of Hollow Knight, and it’s clear that the developers took a lot of inspiration from it. That said, Fatal Claw still manages to offer an enjoyable experience of its own.

Fable 2027 - Combat Gameplay Video | PC System Requirements

In the video, our character easily kills creatures with a sledgehammer. Compared to the sword, it’s a bit clunky, but apparently this tool gets the job done. Still, I didn’t like it—swords are always better. Also, in the game we can easily switch between ranged attacks, spells, and melee combat.

The graphics seem similar to Outer Worlds 2, at the standard of today’s AAA games. The game will be released on February 23, 2027.

 

September 2026 Game Calendar (List of all AAA games coming out in September 2026)

As you know, the release of GTA 6 in November 2026 has pushed both AAA and indie game schedules into September and October. Among the most anticipated titles in September are the AAA game Blood of Dawnwalker, developed by former Witcher director and ex-CD Projekt staff, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword, a new production from Capcom.

Castlevania Remake Actively in Development at Konami

Konami announced: “We are actively developing Metal Gear, Silent Hill, and in addition, Castlevania,” which excited players.

Konami added: “Our work is not limited to a single game; we are striving to bring back multiple titles. You’ve seen this in recent years with Silent Hill 2 Remake and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake.”
